Do you remember when you first learned about Shaklee?
A coworker of mine in the city, about 20 years ago, gave me a brief introduction to Shaklee. Then I met you at a local ladies networking group.
I have always had an interest in health and the environment.
Why did you get started using Shaklee products and working with me?
I liked that you were concerned about me. You recommended a sit down meeting initially and you listened to my needs. Only then did you offer a way to help with some Shaklee products.
I have met a lot of health coaches in my day and I see you as very low key, not just out to sell a products. I see you more as the Gorski Wellness brand that represents the Shaklee nutrition. You get to know me first and I feel like I can call you a friend now, as well as my health coach.
How else can I be of help to you?
I know I should add more fruits and veggies into my diet. Sometimes I need ideas to make it easier and tastier. Nutrition classes where you educate others in a small group setting I think would be beneficial. The one that I would attend for sure would be Break the Sugar Addiction.
Here are a few ideas: 3 Ways to break the sugar habit
I will be working on a plan to have some informative local meetings on relative health topics. If you’d like to be informed of when they are, let me know by adding your email address to my newsletter list.
Beth and I met at a local networking group that I was leading at the time. I feel that it is so important for women to support each other in life but certainly important in this case, in their businesses. As we reach out and get to know others and their businesses, we can better find ways to help them, refer people to them who might also benefit from their services or business. Only in giving to others can we also get.
Let’s talk a little bit about networking, as I know you are very active in the networking community here.
Let me in on a little bit about the value in networking.
In my business I found that I had to find some networking opportunities in a business-to-business way, as I felt that would help me grow my business. I wanted to get into a new market. I found the women’s networking group and thought I would be a good way to meet others and expand my reach of my business connections.
I joined the group and made back 3 times my investment within the first 6 months from the connections I made. Networking has given me the opportunity to get my foot in the door with other businesses that are interested in my services. Networking has been so important to my business. I have connected with like minded women who are also looking for way to expand their business. But what I love about networking is that when you find the right group and people, they are looking for ways to help others first. Then they find that the business comes back to them. Help others and they will help you. I can honestly say that my business was built on networking.
Tell me about BTomas Design. How did you begin your business?
I have been designing for about 20 years through various positions. In 2003, I became an entrepreneur with a direct marketing business. This position was a catalyst to launch my business into graphic design.
When I met you, BTomas Design was Detailed Professional Services. My services included Graphic design, virtual assistant and event planning. I worked on making myself invaluable on a personal level.
My heart really was in graphic design so I eventually dropped the virtual assistant and event services to focus on my passion. I changed my business name to BTomas Design to reflect the focus on Graphic Design. I work with my clients to learn about their ideas and dreams. I then translate those ideas and dreams into a design they are thrilled with. I design a lot of logos and have become rather an expert in that arena, as well as branding practices, as it naturally goes hand in hand with logos. In 20 years, I have designed much more than logos.
Graphic Design services include:
- Book Cover Design
