Let’s make a protein smoothie with the NEW frother
Hey, Moyra Gorski here. It’s been a quick minute since I posted here.
I’m gonna be making a smoothie today with my new frother that Shaklee just sent to me.
This month we’ve got a great special going on that when I ordered some protein and one of the things that I love to mix in like collagen or tea or triple defense boost, I got a free frother. I usually make my smoothies in a blender and I put some ice in there and some frozen fruit, and water.
But today I’m gonna use the frother and see how that goes.
I choose the Shaklee Life Shake. This particular version I’m mixing today is the plant version. It’s a pea protein.
And my new favorite flavor is Vanilla Cha. . Again, what I love about this protein it has 20 grams of protein when I’m putting two scoops in here.
it’s non gmo.
A very clean source of protein. Super important.
Low glycemic index so it doesn’t spike your sugar.
It has some fiber in it so it fills you up and that protein helps to keep your blood sugar level so you’re not having the spikes in energy and not having those super hunger pains.
And then I also add collagen. This is Collagen is a newer product that Shaklee has and really the best collagen that you can get out there. It has all nine essential amino acids. We’ve also added some biotin and vitamin C.
I’m putting two little scoops in my jar as well, and that delivers 10 grams of hydrolyzed collagen from types one and three and derived from grass fed pasteurized bovine source. You add it to your favorite drink coffee. shakes. The really cool thing about collagen, if you know, or maybe you don’t know, but we need all of those nine essential amino acids to support protein synthesis, including that collagen, which aids in the formation of all of our connective tissues, which is in our skin, bone, muscles, tendons, ligaments.
It’s great for. hair, skin, nails, and all those connective tissues. So you’re gonna look better and you’re gonna feel better when you add some extra collagen because as we age, we produce less and less collagen.
We need to make sure that we’re getting those sources.
So back to the shake, we just took that into our mason jar with about 10 ounces of really cold water.
Best advice. Put the frother all the way in before you press the top and then press it.
It’s a pretty good, powerful frother so you can. It’s just frothing along there. And in just a matter of a minute or so, I’ve got a great tasty smoothie, which is all smooth together with now we’ve got 30 grams of protein. A great amount of protein for a meal.
Didn’t take long Two minutes maybe from start to finish . You can make a quick, easy meal instead of grabbing that bagel, instead of grabbing some fast food, you can mix up a smoothie. You could even put a jar on this and take it with you to work.
Or maybe you’re working from home so you take it to your office there.
It’s a great way to get some good lean protein with that fiber. It fills you up and gives you that great nutrition very quickly Cheers to you
